The Chamber of Secrets was thought to be just a legend. The story says Salazar Slytherin built the chamber to house a monster capable of purging the school of all those he felt were unworthy of studying magic. However the school had been searched numerous times since the Middle Ages but no chamber was ever found. It wasn’t until the 20th century the existence of the chamber became unquestionable, when several students were petrified and one died as a result of its opening. The entrance turned out to be located in the second floor girls’ bathroom through a hidden passage behind a sink with an engraved snake tap. Only an heir of Slytherin or speaking parseltongue will reveal the entrance. Inside is a labyrinth of tunnels and a large statue of Salazar, yet only his head is now visible as the chamber was flooded prior to its last opening. The monster, a basilisk, was found living within the chamber but was killed in 1993.

#Viktor was obviously deeply in love with her #just remember the fact that he took her to prom #even knowing that he could’ve choose any other girl #remember how he forgot about everyone and danced with her all night #remember how he looked at her while saying ‘write to me, please’ #remember how, a few years later #on Fleur’s wedding #he danced with her one more time #probably being conscient that her heart already belonged to Ron #this is why I love Viktor Krum so much #he just enjoyed being with Hermione #and didn’t care about the future #mostly, because she wasn’t going to be a part of his.
